About the role

Greif is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate corrective, preventive, predictive and proactive maintenance tasks.
• Assemble, install, repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical machinery using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
• Interpret diagrams, sketches, manuals and engineering specifications to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance colleagues to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Manage spare‑parts ordering, stocking, issuing and inventory.
• Support root‑cause analysis and improve preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Follow plant safety policies and participate in safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing programs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with a technical certificate.
• 3‑6 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in high‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals and measurement tools.
• Experience troubleshooting complex industrial equipment.
• Competence with Microsoft Office suite.
