About the role

The Process Technician works on the injection molding line, ensuring equipment is correctly configured, operating efficiently, and producing high‑quality medical devices. The role requires strong problem‑solving abilities, continuous improvement mindset, and collaboration with manufacturing engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in training staff on process methods and efficient equipment operation.
• Perform mold changes, daily machine configurations, and routine maintenance.
• Follow product handling procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate on development and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Monitor product quality during production runs and support problem resolution.
• Work with manufacturing engineers to establish or approve new machine parameters and document optimal processes.
• Maintain technical knowledge through courses and equipment manuals.
• Report equipment damage immediately to supervisors and inform engineering management of quality‑related issues.
• Communicate production line status to leaders, engineers, and relevant plant personnel.
• Identify non‑conforming parts, investigate rejections, and verify specifications using appropriate measuring tools.
• Organize and prioritize tasks based on business needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma with technical certification or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of progressive experience in plastic injection molding and manufacturing equipment for medical devices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and focus on process improvement.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.

Required skills
