Technical Lead / Architect

About the role

Coforge is seeking a Technical Lead / Architect to own the technical design and architecture of new capabilities, translating business outcomes into robust, scalable solutions. The role combines hands‑on development with strategic oversight of distributed, API‑driven systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical design and architecture of new capabilities based on business outcomes, requirements, and constraints.
• Design API‑driven and distributed solutions, including connector architectures and integrations.
• Document and communicate technical design decisions, identify risks and resolve technical challenges.
• Lead design and code reviews while establishing engineering standards and best practices.
• Break complex initiatives into implementable increments and oversee technical delivery.
• Partner with on‑shore architecture teams and serve as the primary technical point of contact for the delivery team.
• Stay hands‑on with development and contribute directly to building and implementing solutions.
• Lead the team’s delivery cadence and support implementation of delivery metrics.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading teams and owning system architecture.
• Proven ability to take ambiguous business problems from concept to production‑ready solution.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English proficiency and ability to work with significant autonomy.
