Tax Senior Analyst

About the role

Bayer is looking for a Tax Senior Analyst to join its LATAM finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the fiscal quality of accounting data, supporting tax compliance across multiple countries, and driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and process transactions in SAP according to the FA&TAX activity split.
• Ensure fiscal quality of accounting data through checks, corrections, and monitoring with internal departments and local tax authorities.
• Manage compliance processes for VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax and other local taxes.
• Prepare data for tax declarations, complete required forms and submit fiscal reports.
• Perform tax accounting activities and contribute to the standardisation and innovation of tax processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and taxes, with at least 1‑2 years in a tax associate role.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations in Ecuador and Costa Rica.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field (desirable).
• Ability to work under pressure, collaborate across functions and build stakeholder relationships.
