Tax Compliance Analyst II

About the role

The Tax Data Analyst leverages advanced data analytics and automation tools to improve tax compliance, reporting, and process efficiency. This position blends technical data‑mining expertise with strong tax knowledge to deliver accurate insights and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data‑mining protocols to extract and consolidate tax‑related data from multiple sources such as ERP systems, SAP and tax‑authority websites.
• Validate and cleanse large datasets to ensure accuracy for tax filings and audits.
• Use data‑driven insights to identify inefficiencies, redesign workflows and drive continuous improvements through automation, standardisation and performance monitoring.
• Create dynamic reports and dashboards for tax compliance and performance monitoring.
• Partner with tax analysts, finance and IT teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects involving tax technology and analytics.

Required profile

• University degree or advanced coursework in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quantitative/analytical role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in tax‑related business functions.
• Proven experience with business‑intelligence tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Fluent in English and the local regional language.
