Systems Administrator I

About the role

The Systems Administrator I provides operational support and administration for enterprise systems, identity services, and technology platforms. Acting as an escalation point for Tier 1 support, this role ensures business‑critical services remain available and reliable while developing expertise across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve escalated incidents and service requests from Tier 1 support.
• Troubleshoot enterprise applications, Microsoft 365, identity services, and business systems.
• Administer user accounts, group memberships, permissions, and access controls.
• Support authentication, access, and account lifecycle processes.
• Perform routine system administration, updates, configuration changes, and maintenance.
• Monitor system health, respond to alerts, and participate in change‑management activities.
• Support both cloud and on‑premises technology platforms.
• Provide application support, coordinate with vendors, and assist with testing and validation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and SOPs.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or related roles.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
