Strategic Sourcing Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

GEP is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to support its global clients in optimizing procurement performance. You will lead end‑to‑end sourcing projects, manage supplier relationships, and deliver data‑driven recommendations that drive cost savings and sourcing excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑cycle sourcing initiatives, including RFx events, supplier evaluations, benchmarking, and negotiations.
• Develop sourcing strategies, translate business requirements into Statements of Work, and manage competitive bidding processes such as e‑auctions.
• Conduct supplier research, market intelligence, and performance monitoring to support continuous improvement.
• Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier metrics to build business cases and executive‑level reports.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of sourcing outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global, multi‑disciplinary team.
