Sr Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

The Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead manufacturing process enhancements for medical device production, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to boost productivity, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Time Study initiatives, developing methodology, analyzing data and training employees.
• Design layout improvement proposals to increase productivity and optimize space.
• Manage cross‑functional continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, VSM and other tools.
• Facilitate problem‑solving workshops, root‑cause investigations and corrective actions across manufacturing.
• Mentor engineers, supervisors and functional teams on industrial engineering and continuous improvement tools.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in continuous improvement and operations within regulated environments, preferably medical devices.
• BS degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Green Belt or similar certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, SOPs and technical manuals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, VSM, 5S methodologies.
• Advanced Excel and full MS Office suite.
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365).
• Project Management knowledge (PMP certification is a plus).
