Specialist Calibration Technician

About the role

The Specialist Calibration Technician supports the Production Equipment Repair & Maintenance unit, ensuring that all calibration and maintenance activities are performed in line with Good Manufacturing Practices. The role involves collecting technical data, collaborating with manufacturing engineers, and helping to develop and implement improved repair processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute planned maintenance and calibration tasks on production equipment while documenting observations.
• Organize and analyze data related to equipment performance, safety, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to create repair and maintenance schematics for new tools and processes.
• Assist in developing operational control standards and testing equipment to verify conformance with engineering specifications.
• Identify and escalate production line issues to reduce finished‑item rejection rates.
• Support the development of lower‑level technicians through training and guidance.

Required profile

• Experience working with production equipment repair, maintenance, or calibration in a GMP environment.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills for reporting observations and coordinating with supervisors and engineers.
• Capacity to work under limited supervision and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
