Solutions Design Analyst (eCOA)

About the role

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is looking for a Solutions Design Analyst to deliver high-quality electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment (eCOA) solution designs for its pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. The analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to review study protocols, turn client requirements into optimized designs and ensure accurate, efficient project delivery aligned with clinical objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall Solutions Design process for client studies.
• Review clinical trial protocols to identify solution needs and define study-specific eCOA designs.
• Gather sponsor requirements and recommend Clario's best design components.
• Create and maintain design specifications consistent across data capture, delivery and database structures.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Data Management, Product and CSTL on requirements and data integrity.
• Present solution designs at internal and external milestone meetings.
• Support project scoping, change control and testing, and contribute to product and process improvements.
• Maintain organized documentation and support study tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent; science or healthcare-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical trials or an equivalent role.
• Ability to interpret clinical trial documentation such as protocols, questionnaires and data models.
• Experience translating client requirements into design specifications.
• Familiarity with FDA regulatory processes and clinical research standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including with clients at all levels.
• Highly organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
• Experience with technical documentation tools is a plus.
