Software Engineer Expert (AI)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing team to scale an AWS data platform through automation‑first operations. You will replace repetitive manual work with Infrastructure as Code, automated runbooks, and self‑service deployment capabilities, making the platform faster, cheaper, and compliant by design.

Key responsibilities

• Identify repetitive operational tasks and design automation to eliminate manual effort.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across multiple AWS environments.
• Automate governance, compliance checks, and cost reporting/remediation (idle resources, rightsizing, scheduling).
• Build self‑service deployment capabilities for engineering and data teams.
• Create operational dashboards, alerts, and improve incident response.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, branching strategies, automated testing and promotion.
• Orchestrate workflows with AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, Lambda, and Systems Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in Terraform (modules, state management, environments).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, Systems Manager, Lambda.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
