Software Engineer – AI Assets Foundry (Generative AI)

About the role

West Monroe is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Tech Ex AI Assets Foundry Team. In this internal product engineering role you will build reusable, scalable, and secure AI‑enabled applications that help consultants deliver solutions more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support full‑stack features and reusable asset components for the AI Assets portfolio.
• Implement generative AI capabilities such as API integrations, prompt workflows, retrieval‑augmented generation, and data‑driven features.
• Translate product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria into clean, maintainable code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos and retrospectives.
• Follow architecture patterns, coding standards, security practices and responsible AI guidelines.
• Contribute to quality through unit and integration testing, code reviews, documentation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues across front‑end, back‑end, data, cloud and AI service layers.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering, product, governance and success partners to drive adoption of internal software assets.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative mindset with ability to work with product owners, designers, architects and senior engineers.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Commitment to writing secure, maintainable code and following best practices.
