IT Server Administrator & Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Server Administrator/Tech Support role ensures the availability, reliability, and security of the company's network systems and server infrastructure. It combines infrastructure and cloud administration with on‑site technical support, providing end‑users with a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise VMware clusters to guarantee high availability across virtual environments.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure/GCP cloud resources.
• Provide technical support to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Stage, image, deploy and maintain laptops and workstations throughout their lifecycle.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server (2016‑2022) and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) systems.
• Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts for automation and system monitoring.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, LAN and WAN infrastructure to ensure seamless office connectivity.
• Execute backup and recovery strategies and participate in on‑call rotation for critical incidents.

Required profile

• 4+ years of IT experience balancing server administration and technical support.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ‑104) or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level preferred) for communication with global teams.
