Software Developer Intern (Semester 2027)

About the role

Join Konrad Group as a Software Developer Intern for a 16‑week, full‑time program. You will work alongside experienced mentors on both front‑end and back‑end web applications, contributing to a complete product while gaining hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Write maintainable, testable, and performant code in collaboration with the development team.
• Participate in code reviews and extensive testing to ensure high‑quality software.
• Research new technologies and tools, sharing findings with the team.
• Communicate clearly with all team members throughout the project.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science or Software Engineering program at Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC).
• Strong grasp of core programming and computer‑science concepts.
• Proactive personality with a desire to deliver high‑quality work.
• Advanced English proficiency and full‑time availability (40 hrs/week) for the 16‑week period.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of core web principles (HTTP, browsers, DOM, SSL, web servers).
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of QA principles.
• Native Android or iOS development knowledge is a plus.
