Snowflake Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Platform Architect / Lead Engineer to design, build, and operationalize a modern enterprise Snowflake data platform from the ground up. This is a hands‑on leadership position that combines architecture, engineering, governance, and production support in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Snowflake architecture, including databases, schemas, virtual warehouses, RBAC, networking, security, and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Build batch, CDC, streaming, and real‑time ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, APIs, cloud storage, and ETL/ELT tools.
• Develop raw, staging, curated, dimensional, semantic, and analytics data layers.
• Implement masking, row/column‑level security, object tagging, lineage, access policies, and compliance controls.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through warehouse tuning, clustering, query optimization, resource monitoring, and cost management.
• Establish CI/CD, automated deployment, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, and DataOps practices.
• Build monitoring, alerting, disaster recovery, backup, replication, and production support processes.
• Enable secure data sharing and integration with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and other BI platforms.
• Lead technical design sessions, define enterprise standards, and mentor engineering teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Warehousing.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Snowflake experience in production environments.
• Proven experience designing and deploying Snowflake platforms from scratch.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake architecture, RBAC, security, governance, and performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced English and excellent communication skills.
