Senior Travel Planner – Luxury Travel

About the role

The Senior Travel Planner will join Costa Adventures, a DMC and luxury travel specialist based in Costa Rica, working in a hybrid setting. You will design bespoke itineraries and manage all logistics for high‑end travelers and groups, ensuring exceptional experiences from initial consultation through post‑trip follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with clients to capture preferences and translate them into detailed travel proposals and quotes.
• Design and coordinate end‑to‑end luxury itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transfers, tours and special requests.
• Liaise with suppliers, local partners and internal teams to secure reservations, confirmations and any necessary changes.
• Maintain accurate records in booking and CRM systems, and proactively resolve issues that arise during travel.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to optimise client experiences and meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
• Proven experience in senior travel planning, DMC or luxury travel agency environments.
• High level of organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated and reliable in a hybrid work setting.

• Experience using booking platforms.
• Competence in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
