Senior Technician, Environmental Health & Safety

The Senior Technician, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) role supports complex maintenance, testing, and compliance activities across the manufacturing site, offering a unique career opportunity in a fast‑moving medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complex EHS maintenance and testing for fire‑fighting systems, emergency doors, lights, chemical response kits, signs and labels.
• Perform preventive maintenance on sprinkler systems, emergency lamps, fire detection equipment, eye‑wash showers, and related safety infrastructure.
• Verify contractor compliance with safety rules, issue and sign work permits, and conduct daily safety inspections in the CR buildings.
• Deliver training and guidance to contractors, visitors, and employees on EHS guidelines as needed.
• Support recycling reception processes, maintain documentation, track recycling metrics, and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of EHS activities and ensure all required documentation is up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• High School Diploma completed; technical degree in Occupational Health, Workplace Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Occupational Health and Safety processes.
• Intermediate English level with ability to read and comprehend safety documentation.
• Availability to work Shift A (Monday‑Friday, 06:00‑15:30).
• Experience in the medical‑device industry or related sectors such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, or food manufacturing.
