Senior System Support Specialist

About the role

DHL IT Services is looking for a Senior System Support Specialist to strengthen the security of its platform estate, including hardware, operating systems, databases, middleware, storage, and containers. You will work with a global team of cybersecurity professionals to define standards, monitor threats, and continuously improve the security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve technical security standards and monitor controls across the platform estate.
• Remediate vulnerabilities, automate security processes, and apply best‑practice lessons learned.
• Collaborate closely with platform architects, server support teams, Information Security, business units, project managers, and asset owners.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar system support or cybersecurity role.
• Practical experience managing server OS platforms such as Linux and Windows Server, as well as databases and middleware application servers.
• Understanding of common cyber‑security attack principles and vectors.

Required skills

• Linux and Windows Server administration
• Database and middleware management
• Knowledge of XDR, container security, micro‑segmentation, and virtual patching technologies
• Experience or strong interest in AI‑assisted cybersecurity operations and automation
