AI/ML Engineer – Lead LLM & NLP Projects

Lead the future of AI/ML in a hands‑on, ambiguity‑friendly role — shape models, build NLP pipelines, and influence product direction with founders. Collaborative, impactful work.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop machine‑learning systems and LLM‑based applications, fine‑tuning large language models for domain‑specific use cases.
• Build NLP pipelines to extract structured data from complex, unstructured documents and PDFs, applying computer‑vision techniques where needed.
• Translate ambiguous product goals into clear technical and ML execution plans, prioritising work from product signals, user feedback and backlog input.
• Develop evaluation and benchmarking pipelines to measure model performance, detect regressions and create feedback loops that use user corrections for continuous improvement.
• Implement AI agents that interact with web systems using automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
• Architect scalable training, inference and infrastructure pipelines on AWS, integrating MongoDB for data storage and supporting JavaScript/Node.js and React services in production.

Required profile

• 6+ years of Python development experience and 4+ years in AI/ML engineering roles.
• Strong experience building and deploying LLM‑based systems (e.g., Claude, OpenAI models) and NLP information‑extraction pipelines.
• Proficiency with model evaluation, benchmarking, performance measurement and continuous‑learning feedback loops.
• Hands‑on experience with JavaScript/Node.js, React, MongoDB and AWS in production environments.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments, turn unclear problem spaces into structured technical plans and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Upper‑intermediate or higher English proficiency.
