Senior Software Engineer – User Management

About the role

Software Mind is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate the User Management API that powers tenant lifecycle, user and group administration, and role‑based access control for PowerPlan cloud customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the User Management API (REST and gRPC) and its authentication/authorization model.
• Own integrations with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, including provisioning, lifecycle sync, event handling, and app‑registration automation.
• Implement secret management using Azure services and ensure multi‑tenant data integrity and auditability.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and smoke tests focused on authentication flows, permission boundaries, and tenant isolation.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on sign‑in and admin experiences and support on‑call incident response.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production back‑end development in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core Web API, dependency injection, async patterns).
• Hands‑on experience with identity and access management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and multi‑tenant RBAC models.
• Proven work with enterprise identity providers such as Okta (preferred) or Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD.
• Strong relational database skills with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
