Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the role

QAT Global is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join a fully remote team. You will work directly with US customers and collaborate with development teams in the United States, Costa Rica, and Brazil to ensure high‑quality SaaS delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans for multi‑tenant SaaS applications.
• Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Selenium, Cypress, and Python, and write Java‑based test code.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins) and support Agile scrum processes.
• Set up complex testing environments, manage large data sets, and troubleshoot root‑cause issues quickly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in manual, functional, and performance testing.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Manual testing and performance/load testing.
• Selenium, Cypress, Python, JMeter, LoadRunner.
• Java programming for test automation.
• CI/CD tools: TeamCity, Jenkins.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with AWS and containerization (preferred).
• RDBMS: MySQL, SQL Server.
