Senior Security Consultant – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join a fast‑growing cybersecurity consulting team that serves U.S.‑based companies. This remote, full‑time contractor position offers high autonomy and direct client interaction, allowing you to lead end‑to‑end security engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical security assessments across AWS, GCP and Azure, including cloud configuration reviews, vulnerability assessments and security architecture evaluations.
• Deploy, configure and manage security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, CSPM, MDM, IAM and SSO.
• Oversee corporate IT security operations, including endpoint security, identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace), onboarding/off‑boarding and device compliance.
• Design and implement security programs and roadmaps aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA frameworks.
• Conduct client meetings, manage technical workstreams independently and deliver executive‑level reports, remediation plans and documentation.
• Support security questionnaires and collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate responses.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience in technical security roles.
• Previous consulting or professional services experience working directly with multiple clients.
• Strong expertise in at least two of the following: cloud security (AWS/GCP), corporate IT security, endpoint security & detection, application security.
• Experience implementing technical controls for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA or similar frameworks.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills in professional English.
