Cloud Architecture Consultant – Application Modernization

About the role

Join a global consulting network as a Cloud Architecture Consultant focused on large‑scale application modernization and cloud migration projects for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead application modernization projects, defining strategy, roadmap and architecture on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Alibaba Cloud.
• Design and implement micro‑services and event‑driven architectures to meet business goals.
• Oversee multi‑disciplinary teams delivering cloud solutions, infrastructure, and operating models.
• Provide thought leadership, create assets and offerings, and support client presentations and proposal defenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA from a Tier‑1 college is preferred.
• 5–10 years of consulting or high‑tech experience leading cloud strategy, assessment, architecture, and application modernization projects.
• Architect certification on Azure, AWS or GCP.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud.
• Design patterns: Microservices, Event‑Driven Architecture, Containers.
• Expertise in application modernization, migration planning and cloud security.
