Senior Security Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Security Consultant to join a fast‑growing cybersecurity consulting team that serves U.S.‑based companies. This remote, full‑time contractor position offers high autonomy and direct client interaction, allowing you to lead end‑to‑end security engagements and make a tangible impact on cloud and corporate security.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical security assessments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including cloud configuration reviews, vulnerability assessments, and architecture evaluations.
• Deploy, configure, and manage security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, CSPM, MDM, IAM, and SSO.
• Manage corporate IT security operations, covering endpoint security, identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace), onboarding/off‑boarding, and device compliance.
• Design and implement security programs and roadmaps aligned with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks.
• Conduct client meetings, oversee technical workstreams independently, and deliver recommendations to stakeholders.
• Prepare assessment reports, remediation plans, security documentation, and executive‑level deliverables.
• Support security questionnaires and collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate responses.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience in technical roles.
• Consulting or professional services background with direct client exposure.
• Strong expertise in at least two areas: Cloud Security (AWS/GCP), Corporate IT Security, Endpoint Security & Detection, or Application Security.
• Experience implementing controls for SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills in professional English.
