Senior Roku Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Roku Engineer to join a fast‑paced team building high‑quality OTT and streaming experiences for connected TV platforms. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Roku applications that deliver polished user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain Roku applications using BrightScript, SceneGraph, and modern Roku technologies.
• Manage the full Roku development lifecycle from concept through App Store submission and ongoing maintenance.
• Translate Figma designs into high‑fidelity UI/UX implementations.
• Build reusable SDK components and custom extensions for scalable development.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to platform tooling, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and best‑practice documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of commercial Roku development experience.
• Strong proficiency in BrightScript, SceneGraph, and Roku SDKs.
• Experience managing Roku App Store builds, submissions, and releases.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
