Sourcing and Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Sourcing and Procurement Specialist will act as the IT procurement expert for designated spend clusters, ensuring compliance with company policies and delivering value to internal and external stakeholders. The role involves managing vendor relationships, executing sourcing strategies, and supporting project delivery within Infosys BPM’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and ensure service delivery in line with IT MBS Procurement processes and contractual commitments.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including tendering, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract finalisation.
• Maintain quality, process compliance, and knowledge management across floor operations and audits.
• Track and report project status regularly, contributing to process improvements and delivery predictability.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant procurement or sourcing experience.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical, numeracy, and project management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Commercial negotiation and contracting expertise.
• Knowledge of IT markets, supplier landscapes, and service cost models.
