Senior Production Manager

About the role

The Senior Production Manager will lead all manufacturing activities, ensuring efficient use of equipment, materials, personnel and budget while complying with quality, safety and regulatory standards. Reporting to the General Manager, this role drives continuous improvement and value creation across the production area.

Key responsibilities

• Improve production systems, methods and processes to reduce operational costs and enhance product value.
• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities, optimizing resource utilization.
• Escalate and resolve issues impacting personnel, products or processes in a timely manner.
• Maintain key performance indicators such as efficiency, labor hours, quality, scrap and safety.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, safety and internal policies in collaboration with other departments.
• Manage department personnel through supervisors, fostering a positive work environment.
• Participate in budget preparation and forecasting based on production plans and upcoming projects.
• Control project execution and perform financial and qualitative benefit analyses.
• Document and report production data in accordance with established procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior production or manufacturing management.
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership skills to guide supervisors and front‑line staff.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements applicable to manufacturing.
