Senior Procurement Manager – MRO & Industrial Gases Category Leader

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager leads the development and execution of global category strategies for MRO and industrial gases across North American sites. Managing roughly $80 million in spend, you will influence sourcing decisions, drive cost savings, and ensure supply continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement multi‑year global sourcing strategies for complex, strategic categories.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, technical, finance) to prioritize initiatives and negotiate global agreements.
• Analyze market intelligence, supplier performance data, and risk factors to refine category plans.
• Lead supplier business reviews, drive joint innovation, and manage supplier rationalization.
• Coach and mentor colleagues on category management processes and predictive analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement/sourcing experience in multinational companies.
• Proven experience in MRO procurement and highly regulated industries.
• Track record of delivering year‑over‑year cost savings and continuous‑improvement results.
• Strong consultative, collaborative and influencing skills.
