Senior Lead – HR for Costa Rica Office

About the role

Datacor is seeking a Senior Lead for its People Team to head the HR function at the Costa Rica office (approximately 80 employees). You will be the primary on‑site HR partner, handling recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, benefits, and compliance while collaborating closely with both local and global People teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR contact for all Costa Rica staff and managers, providing coaching on organization design, performance, and employee relations.
• Localize and roll out global HR policies, programs, and cultural initiatives.
• Deliver HR metrics and insights to local and global leadership.
• Guide managers through performance reviews, PIPs, and career development processes.
• Manage investigations and employee‑relations issues with timely, compliant resolutions.
• Support learning initiatives using the company LMS and facilitate relevant training.
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to scope roles, assess candidates, and improve onboarding (pre‑boarding to 90‑day check‑ins).
• Administer local benefits (CCSS/Caja, INS workers’ comp, supplemental plans) and support compensation cycles.
• Coordinate payroll, planilla, and statutory payments such as aguinaldo.

Required profile

• Senior HR professional with proven experience leading HR functions for a mid‑size site.
• Strong ability to coach leaders, manage employee relations, and drive performance processes.
• Experience partnering with global HR teams and aligning local HR priorities with business goals.
• Hands‑on approach to talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll coordination.
