Senior Lead Analyst – AML, KYC & Transaction Monitoring

About the role

The Senior Lead Analyst will drive regulatory compliance for Anti‑Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring programs. Acting as a techno‑functional subject‑matter expert, the role partners with Product Management, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Operations to embed regulatory requirements into product design and data processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise and execution leadership across AML, KYC, Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring, ensuring alignment with external regulations and internal policies.
• Partner with Product Management and cross‑functional teams to embed regulatory requirements into product plans, onboarding workflows and post‑booking processes.
• Perform end‑to‑end data validation, assess accuracy, completeness and integrity across source systems and downstream reporting.
• Analyze complex data and process issues, conduct root‑cause analysis and deliver actionable remediation recommendations to governance forums.
• Support control design, enhancements and sustainability testing, and collaborate with Technology on system changes and remediation efforts.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in Financial Services, Credit Card or Banking environments handling large data volumes.
• Strong knowledge of AML, KYC and Transaction Monitoring regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities and deliver audit‑ready outputs under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
