Business Planning Operations Analyst

About the role

The Business Planning Operations Analyst will help define, manage and evaluate business plans that are operationally executable against HPE's strategic objectives. This hybrid position requires working on‑site two days a week in the Heredia office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑term business plans and data‑driven models, preparing implementation tactics, resource allocation and execution plans.
• Set business metrics, evaluate performance against forecasts and recommend actions to senior leaders.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for outsourced services, from requirement gathering to supplier selection and contract support.
• Analyze procurement and service performance data to identify cost‑saving and efficiency improvement projects.

Required profile

• First‑level university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in data modeling, strategy, planning, operations or finance.
• Proven ability to design and improve processes that reduce costs and cycle times.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with Power Query for data preparation and transformation.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
