Senior Full Stack Engineer (JavaScript/TypeScript)

About the role

Coforge is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern web applications for clients across Latin America. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the LATAM region while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and SSR frameworks such as Next.js.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Create reusable UI components and dynamic forms, integrating third‑party APIs and headless CMS platforms.
• Implement unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and DevOps to follow modern CI/CD practices.

Required profile

• 4–5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with Node.js backend development and React front‑end development.
• Proven ability to work remotely and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Headless CMS platforms (Contentstack, Contentful, Strapi).
• Testing frameworks: Jest, Playwright, React Testing Library.
• Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Optional but valued: Emotion/CSS‑in‑JS, Storybook, Chromatic, accessibility testing, Koa/Express, Redis, Google Maps integration.
