Senior Financial & Planning Analyst

About the role

Emerson is seeking a Senior Financial & Planning Analyst to join its Global Financial Planning team in Costa Rica. You will support the Power & Water Solutions business unit by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide global analytical support for the monthly projection process and create forecasts for the remainder of the year.
• Lead updates of the Emerson Financial Model, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow and related exhibits for various review cycles.
• Coordinate updates of additional financial models used for strategy, planning conferences, and operational reviews.
• Develop MD&A bridges, supporting exhibits, and senior‑management presentations on financial performance.
• Support new product development finance, gather world‑area data, and perform ad‑hoc analyses on currency, mix, price and cost‑reduction programs.
• Respond to corporate data requests under tight deadlines and improve the HFM reporting process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum five years of experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting or financial modeling.
• Experience working in a global environment and interacting with multiple world areas.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate financial information to all management levels.
