Senior Finance Specialist

About the role

As a Senior Finance Specialist you will join BCG’s North America Regional Finance Shared Services team, handling the day‑to‑day execution of Time Management processes. You will work closely with regional and local finance teams, case teams and other stakeholders across BCG’s North America offices.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily Time Management operational activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and SLA adherence.
• Process timesheet corrections, manage escalations and support stakeholder communications.
• Triaging the NAMR inbox, routing, resolving and following up on requests.
• Provide operational coverage by redistributing workload during absences.
• Perform quality checks and first‑level audits to ensure revenue‑recognition compliance.
• Monitor trackers, flag SLA risks and document process gaps with recommendations.
• Maintain and update internal databases and trackers in Excel for audit and reporting purposes.
• Prepare, analyze and reconcile financial reports to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with Finance, Staffing and Operations teams to resolve timesheet discrepancies.

Required profile

• B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years of data‑entry or transactional finance work.
• Strong analytical abilities and solid foundation in business, financial management and accounting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.
