Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Senior Finance Business Partner acts as the primary finance advisor for a designated Business Unit, supporting strategic decision‑making, cash optimisation and capital investment initiatives. Reporting to ISC Finance leadership, the role partners closely with plant controllers, operations teams and senior business leaders to drive financial performance and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main finance point of contact for Business Unit leadership, providing guidance that balances financial discipline with operational realities.
• Participate in strategic planning, financial reviews and cross‑functional business discussions.
• Monitor and analyse working capital, inventory, payables and other cash drivers to support cash optimisation.
• Evaluate capital investment requests, track expenditures against approved business cases and assess ROI and payback periods.
• Partner with plant controllers and operations to quantify financial impacts of capital projects.
• Validate financial assumptions for productivity and Change‑to‑Win initiatives and measure benefits on P&L, operating costs and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with finance policies, internal controls, SOX requirements and financial governance standards.
• Collaborate with global finance and shared services to address control gaps, support audits and improve compliance.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, supply‑chain or plant finance.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, working capital and cash‑flow management.
• Proven ability to perform independent, complex and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior operational leaders in a global, matrixed environment.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, financial controls and audit processes.
• CPA, CMA and/or MBA are a plus; Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge is beneficial.
