Senior Engineering Manager – Global Operations & Quality

About the role

Join a global operations and quality team that delivers life‑changing cardiovascular devices to patients worldwide. As a Senior Engineering Manager you will partner with manufacturing, sales and cross‑functional teams to solve complex supply‑chain and engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project activities, develop plans, schedules, scope and objectives, and ensure successful delivery of all deliverables.
• Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and coordinate issue resolution with cross‑functional groups.
• Manage and coach an assigned engineering team, including budget oversight and talent development aligned with departmental growth strategies.
• Lead cross‑functional groups to provide design recommendations for moderately complex components or products.
• Develop and integrate metrics that demonstrate engineering value to the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• Proven experience in engineering with a track record of managing technical or engineering disciplines.
• Experience working in a regulated industry.
• Strong project‑management leadership and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong documentation, communication and relationship‑management capabilities.
• Understanding of engineering procedures, financial acumen related to engineering, and ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
