Job description

About the role

At Coforge we are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer (ref #17219-1-3) to design, build and operate cloud‑native platforms for our clients in Peru, Colombia, Bolivia and Costa Rica. The position is fully remote and requires strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes and modern CI/CD practices.

Key responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using services such as EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, RDS/Aurora and CloudWatch.
Manage Kubernetes environments, including deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, HPA, Jobs/CronJobs, RBAC and troubleshooting.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to enable reliable automated software delivery.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and contribute to cloud automation, observability, security and production troubleshooting.

Required profile

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or a related role.
Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, ACM, S3, RDS/Aurora, CloudWatch).
Deep Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting expertise.
Proficiency with Docker, container registries (ECR) and image optimization.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; knowledge of Terragrunt or CloudFormation/CDK is a plus.
