Senior Dental Designer – All-on-X, Photogrammetry & exocad

About the role

LabCast seeks a senior dental designer with extensive hands‑on experience in All‑on‑X full‑arch implant cases, photogrammetry workflows, and exocad. The role supports LabCast’s dental‑lab clients from order setup through final design, ensuring accurate, passive‑fitting prostheses and high‑quality esthetic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design All‑on‑X cases (All‑on‑4, All‑on‑6, etc.) end‑to‑end in exocad, including provisional prototypes, final hybrid prostheses and milled titanium bars.
• Set up cases in exocad DentalDB, selecting correct indications, implant systems, scan bodies, Ti‑bases and materials.
• Import iCam4D photogrammetry captures, align data with iMetric, and export implant positions for exocad.
• Merge photogrammetry data with intra‑oral, denture, prototype and facial scans to build a precise design foundation.
• Perform clinical design checks for passive fit, implant angulation, screw‑channel positioning, occlusion, emergence profile and hygiene access.
• Identify and flag data issues early, request corrections, and collaborate with production and QA teams.
• Communicate with U.S. lab clients to clarify specifications and meet turnaround times while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience designing in exocad (Implant, Bar, Full Denture/Smile Creator modules).
• Extensive hands‑on work with All‑on‑X full‑arch cases from prototype to final prosthesis.
• Strong knowledge of photogrammetry workflows, especially iCam4D and iMetric alignment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases and maintain detailed digital records.
