Sourcing Manager – Global Supply Base Optimization

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Sourcing Manager, Best Cost Location (BCL) to lead global supply base optimization across multiple categories. You will identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers in strategic low‑cost regions while ensuring cost, quality, compliance, and continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Central and Latin America.
• Conduct market intelligence, capability assessments, financial reviews, quality audits, and compliance evaluations.
• Manage RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and long‑term contracts.
• Develop total cost of ownership analyses and present sourcing recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or sourcing.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel internationally (approximately 30% of time).

• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance.
