Senior Cyber Range Engineer

About the role

SimSpace is looking for a Senior Cyber Range Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud‑based cyber ranges that enable realistic, high‑fidelity security training. You will work closely with security researchers and training specialists to build scalable, isolated environments that emulate enterprise infrastructures across multiple cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and operate local and cloud‑based cyber range infrastructures supporting concurrent training scenarios.
• Develop automation frameworks for rapid provisioning, teardown, and reset of range environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Create emulated cloud services and resources that reflect real‑world enterprise environments.
• Ensure strong isolation, monitoring, and resource‑efficiency across all range deployments.
• Collaborate with security researchers to integrate realistic threat simulations and exercises.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience designing and operating cloud‑native security or training platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead technical implementations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for advancing cyber‑range technology.
