Senior Buyer / Planner

About the role

Mozarc Medical is building a new manufacturing site in Cartago, Costa Rica, and needs a Senior Buyer / Planner to shape material flow from day one. You will ensure that raw materials, components, and finished goods are available to support reliable production in a fast‑growing medical‑device environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source, purchase, plan and schedule raw materials, packaging, parts, components, services and supplies.
• Identify material requirements from engineering and production specifications.
• Analyze price data, negotiate with suppliers and select the lowest‑cost options that meet quality and schedule demands.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse and engineering teams to align procurement, scheduling and material movement.
• Own product availability and inventory levels from raw material receipt through delivery to the distribution center.
• Monitor supplier performance and contribute to demand‑analysis planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience working cross‑functionally in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
