Senior Android Engineer – Healthcare AI

About the role

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join a fast‑growing healthcare technology client. The role focuses on building scalable Android applications that integrate with AI‑driven health data platforms, connected devices, and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern Android apps using Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and a shared design system.
• Implement scalable architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture) and ensure high‑quality, production‑grade code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and AI/ML components into mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams in an agile environment.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural decisions, and adoption of CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience delivering production‑grade Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK and Jetpack components.
• Experience with secure coding practices, data privacy, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
