Semi-Skilled Production Operator

About the role

Cargill is seeking a Semi‑Skilled Production Operator to join its manufacturing team in Costa Rica. You will work on a variety of production lines, operating equipment, handling bulk materials, and ensuring safe, efficient output of high‑quality food products.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mechanical machinery, mobile equipment (forklift, skid loader, floor sweeper, front‑end loader) and computerized control systems.
• Load and unload bulk materials, perform packaging, terminal operations, mixing, and basic machine adjustments.
• Record production and inventory data in computerized systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment, collaborating with the maintenance team.
• Follow all safety and regulatory policies, maintaining a clean work environment.

Required profile

• Ability to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork orientation.
• Flexibility to work in different areas of the plant as needed.
