Security Engineer

About the role

Join Check Point’s global security team and help protect thousands of organizations from sophisticated cyber and AI‑driven threats. As a Security Engineer you will work closely with sales, customers, and partners to design and demonstrate comprehensive security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify prospects.
• Demonstrate Check Point’s full portfolio of security solutions.
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners on technical, operational, and business challenges and how Check Point can address them.
• Drive meetings, conduct proof‑of‑concepts, and respond to RFI/RFP requests.
• Address technical questions, provide best‑practice guidance, and manage solution design.
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Participate actively in cybersecurity events.

Required profile

• 8+ years of engineering and pre‑sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of typical customer networks.
• Ability to create end‑to‑end security solutions for customer environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE) highly preferred.
• Eligibility to work in Costa Rica without employer sponsorship.
