Sales Development Representative – Inbound Lead Specialist

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative at Databricks, you will manage a queue of inbound leads, research prospects, qualify interest, and create opportunities for Account Executives. You will learn to articulate the value of Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform and schedule discovery calls with qualified prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of inbound leads and prioritize them strategically.
• Research and understand the needs of various business lines and target personas.
• Identify technical pain points in prospects' current Data + AI solutions and connect them to Databricks' value proposition.
• Anticipate and overcome objections while building credibility and trust.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility within a fast‑growing sales organization.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional work experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and prioritization abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and team‑first attitude.
• Genuine curiosity about cloud, big data, and AI/ML technologies.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
