RTR Senior Accountant – Finance Transformation

About the role

Join DHL Supply Chain’s new Accounting hub in Heredia as an RTR Senior Accountant. You will play a key part in the Finance transformation, supporting the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and ensuring accurate record‑to‑report processes across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in line with company policies.
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger and balance‑sheet accounts, maintaining complete documentation.
• Assist in reviewing Capex purchase requisitions and ensure proper supporting files.
• Monitor open bank‑reconciliation items, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support accounting and reporting for fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and related processes in coordination with shared services.
• Participate in cash‑management activities, including processing internal and external banking transactions.
• Maintain lease data in the IFRS 16 system and help prepare lease accounting reports.
• Collaborate with country finance teams and shared service centers to gather information and meet service‑level targets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits and support governance requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, CPI or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Familiarity with IFRS, local GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
