About the role
Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo is seeking a dedicated Room Service Manager to lead the delivery of exceptional food and beverage service to guest rooms, suites and residences. This role combines operational oversight with a passion for luxury hospitality, ensuring every guest experience reflects the brand’s high standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the consistency, quality and efficiency of room service and private bar operations.
- Maintain par stock levels for all room service and bar inventory.
- Select, train, evaluate, coach and discipline team members to meet cultural and core service standards.
- Plan daily activities, manage staffing schedules and coordinate with other hotel departments.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience in room service or food‑and‑beverage management within a luxury hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of the local market and hospitality trends.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Leadership ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Required skills
- Bilingual proficiency – English and Spanish.
- Inventory management for room service and bar supplies.
- Understanding of food safety and service standards.
