Road Logistics Specialist – Global Services

About the role

As a member of Kuehne+Nagel’s Freight Forwarding team, you will play a key role in transporting goods across the United States, optimizing processes and ensuring our customers’ promises are fulfilled. You will be responsible for tracking road shipments, monitoring their status, and supporting the end‑to‑end logistics flow.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the tracking of road shipments throughout the USA.
• Monitor shipment statuses directly with carriers via phone and email.
• Ensure accurate transit information for domestic shipments in US accounts.
• Review and manage shipment documents within internal systems.
• Apply transportation regulations to support decision‑making.
• Review carrier and client billing, handle disputes and send invoices with supporting documents.
• Review accounts payable reports for land shipments.
• Identify growth opportunities through continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Freight forwarding experience (preferred).
• Degree in logistics or related technical field (preferred).
• Strong English proficiency, written and oral.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Team‑oriented attitude with willingness to support cross‑functional collaboration.
• Work schedule: Monday‑Friday 7:45 am – 4:45 pm under a hybrid model; rotating shifts may apply.
