Air Logistics Operational Key Accounts Expert

About the role

As an Operational Key Account Expert in Air Logistics, you will drive operational excellence across key accounts, ensuring seamless execution, high service quality and continuous improvement for Kuehne+Nagel’s global freight forwarding business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance, including system usage, process execution and service quality.
• Conduct in‑depth root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
• Develop and lead performance‑improvement projects across multiple accounts.
• Collaborate with national operations, sales, KNGS and other internal teams to align best practices.
• Support operational escalations, resolving complex issues and maintaining service continuity.
• Provide data‑driven insights and performance reports for business reviews and customer discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• 2‑5 years experience in Air or Sea Logistics.
• 2‑5 years project‑management experience (preferred).
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, plus the local language.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex reports, pivot tables and macros.
• Experience analysing operational data using Business Intelligence tools such as myKN, KN Login and KN Desktop.
• Strong knowledge of SOP management, rate‑card agreement compliance and operational processes.
• Proven ability to design reports and track performance across multiple systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Willingness to travel for trainings, workshops and customer visits.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex reports, pivot tables, macros).
• Business Intelligence tools (myKN, KN Login, KN Desktop) for operational data analysis.
