Risk Management Associate

About the role

Cencora is seeking a Risk Management Associate to support third‑party onboarding, due diligence, and ongoing risk monitoring. This role contributes to the company’s mission of creating healthier futures by ensuring robust risk assessments and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support third‑party onboarding and due diligence activities, ensuring risk assessments follow established procedures.
• Review, maintain, and track third‑party risk documentation in the TPRM system.
• Assist Business Owners and Vendor Service Owners with collection and validation of due‑diligence documentation.
• Monitor risk assessments, follow up with stakeholders and vendors, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Perform initial reviews of questionnaires and supporting evidence for completeness and accuracy.
• Track remediation activities, issues, and action plans related to third‑party risk reviews.
• Generate operational reports, dashboards, and status updates for management.
• Coordinate communications between Business Owners, vendors, risk groups, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with audit, compliance, and regulatory requests related to third‑party risk activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, information systems, finance, engineering, compliance, or related field preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in risk management support, project coordination, or program support; 1‑3 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with workflow systems, ticketing platforms, or risk management tools is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Understanding of risk management concepts and third‑party risk principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
